Last night, I participated in my first Moth event and told a story called “The Body on the Trail.” It was great fun, and I can’t wait to share more tales in the future!

Last month, I performed a spoken word piece at the API Flying Bookshelf launch in the Chinatown-International District of Seattle. The project is a fantastic book and ‘zine collection that features the creative work of Asian and Pacific Islander artists and writers. It’s so important for these spaces to be visible and thrive. Tuyen Than at The Seattle Globalist put together an amazing article and video recap of the entire event....

If you climb to the tops of Mount Hood, Shasta, and the Three Sisters, there are large, wooden chests left on the summits by a mountaineering club. Lift their heavy, creaky lids and you’ll find massive books filled with the signatures of people who climbed all the way, who pushed out further into what few of us know....
