So I arrived in Seattle a few weeks ago, and I’m in the center of a place known for its literary juju. The great Central Seattle Public Library looms in my view, and there are millions of public and private writers’ groups and workshops I can join. 750words was founded here in a little Belltown cafe, the street performers are standing in their punk gear freezing their asses off and strumming ukuleles, and the city is frightening and wonderful.

I figure that I’d use this blog space to chronicle my journey as a writer in this city— a location that my family history has roots in, and a place that has continually inspired me with its local writers.

I’m going to be posting reviews about writing tools that I’ve been using on my Macbook Pro and a few web resources as well.

I’ll also try to keep an up-to-date log of my reading, and post reviews what my brain has been digesting lately.
