Last month, I performed a spoken word piece at the API Flying Bookshelf launch in the Chinatown-International District of Seattle. The project is a fantastic book and ‘zine collection that features the creative work of Asian and Pacific Islander artists and writers. It’s so important for these spaces to be visible and thrive.

Tuyen Than at The Seattle Globalist put together an amazing article and video recap of the entire event.

Old-school library checkout cards. I miss card catalogs!

I’ll be back to read more!

Go borrow a book now by visiting the Eastern Cafe at 510 Maynard Ave. South in Seattle, WA.
